Vice President: Global Evidence and Access

Our Client is seeking a uniquely qualified individual with a rare blend of scientific, regulatory, policy, and global health expertise to lead its Geneva operations and spearhead international expansion of its diagnostic portfolio. This role demands a globally recognized leader with proven experience translating diagnostics from discovery through to WHO endorsement and national programmatic uptake, while maintaining active scientific output and stakeholder influence across WHO, StopTB, Global Fund, FIND, MSF and major donors.
• *Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead our Client’s global evidence generation and access strategy, with full autonomy over global-based operations.
- Guide cross-functional integration of scientific, regulatory, commercial, and policy priorities
- Direct international clinical programs, evidence synthesis, and policy dossier preparation across our Client’s diagnostics pipeline.
- Represent our Client in strategic engagements with WHO, FIND, the Global Fund, UNITAID, and ministries of health across LMICs.
- Provide thought leadership on biomarker-driven diagnostics, self-testing innovations, and sample diversification
- Steer our Client’s IVDR, WHO PQ, and national registration objectives, particularly in high-TB burden countries.
- Shape advocacy and market-shaping efforts with major donors and development partners
- Support innovation scouting and partnership development
- Willing to travel >20%
• *Minimum Qualifications**:
- Hold an advanced degree (PhD, MD)
- Minimum 12 years’ experience and track record of planning, conducting and analyzing clinical studies and trials
- Have an exceptional track record and hands-on experience of research and development in LMIC settings, especially around tuberculosis, HIV, viral pathogens and other infectious diseases.
- Demonstrated advanced understanding of molecular biology, immunoassays and cutting-edge diagnostics technologies
