Quality and Reliability Engineer As Quality and Reliability Engineer, you will be part of the IC Quality and Reliability team based in Thalwil. You will be responsible for all quality related topics about IC product line of u-blox over the complete life cycle of the products. Starting from the development phase with technology assessment and qualification planning, continuing with the qualification activities and finally with the product quality support in case of non-conformities at either u-blox production or in the field. In this position you will work in a dynamic team, and you will interface with almost all other functions in the company, from R&D during the development of new products to the Sales organization in case any customer needs support on quality topics. Thanks to the presence of the Quality Laboratory in Thalwil, in this position you will be able to work on the assigned projects and tasks hands on, having access to several Measurement and Failure Analysis tools. Your Responsibilities • Responsible for the qualifications of new products according to international standards (JEDEC or AEC-Q) • Responsible for the application of the 8D methodology on customer claims or other non-conformities • Support R&D to determine/predict component and system life using tools such as FMEA, DoE, reliability testing, etc • Responsible of reliability monitoring program according to the plans Your Skills and Experience • Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering • Minimum 5 years experience in semiconductor industry • Excellent knowledge in Quality & Reliability Engineering • Excellent knowledge in statistics • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills • Excellent communication skills • Work independently, self-motivated, disciplined and proactively • Experience in Automotive industry (AEC-Q, ISO/TS16949, PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA, MSA, etc.) • Experience with Failure Analysis tools (Ishikawa, Fault Tree, 5W, DoE ...) and methods (X-Ray, C-SAM, SEM, Hot Spo
